My background is in Circus and physical theatre , for me the combination of the aerial arts and yoga is the perfect balance .
Aerial yoga combines traditional asana (the physical postures of yoga) and yoga philosophies with the aerial arts using an aerial hammock.
You can be fully supported by the hammock — wrapping around particular body parts, keeping other parts on the floor.
Hanging fully or suspending individual body parts is believed to create traction and open your body more gently and intuitively than when you’re on the floor.
Beginners class is suitable for all who are new to a yoga and aerial yoga practice.
Intermediate is for those who are confident in the air and in have practiced yoga regularly .
Restorative is suitable for all and is inspired by Yin Yoga practices to bring ease into the body and mind
Mat based Yoga
My yoga style draws on my creative practice and can be a playful exploration of the body and mind . I take inspiration from many yoga styles including Iyengar, Yin and Ashtanga , I also weave in somantics and movement to facilitate you into a positive relationship with your own body.
I have a passion for movement and neuroscience and enjoy keeping up to date with the latest research and practices.
My classes are open to all who wish to explore their bodies , I offer adaptations and props to help support you on your yoga journey.
Classes include focussed breathwork, exploration of key traditional yoga poses and meditation.

"Hello Nix just wanted to say how much I enjoyed tonight’s session. I found it really formed and structured with the shapes you helped us to achieve. I felt able to concentrate and focus on what I was trying to achieve too. Thank you again really enjoying the group.
Off for a good nights rest!! See you next week." Sally
