Into the Lake is a social swim club who meet on Sunday Mornings and Monday evenings in Spring and Summer to swim in a beautiful lake at Barefoot and Bower in Mayhill Gloucestershire.
Our aim is to build a community of confident and joyful swimmers.
Expect laughter, tears and the joy of challenging our limits , celebrating each other and of course there will be cake !
You can book a slot which gives you an arrival time , we invite you to stay afterwards, and join us around the fire.
To join us for a swim you must be a member of NOWCA if you are not currently a member , visit www.NOWCA.org to join , it costs just £15 per year and has lots of benefits , including being able to track swims and find swim venues wherever you are in the UK

I will then be sent a wristband for you to keep, we will use this to scan you in and out of the water. You can use this at all NOWCA venues
If you should forget your wristband don't worry we will have temporary ones on site .

The club is managed by me and run with assistance from Nicky Pretty, who bakes delicious cakes and Julian Grail , who is a wizard with the fire and offers a hand getting in and out of the water
We swim all year round, from Spring, we are on Kingfisher lake and winter when the glamping site is closed we swim in calm waters lake, sometimes breaking the ice before we swim !

We run seasonal Swim , Sing and Supper events .
Connecting with the elements and each other . Enjoy a swim in calm waters lake, sit around the fire, sing some seasonal songs and enjoy some nourishing food.
